Phase one is done. Peeling the Onion is live and ready for your eyeballs. Both ebook and print editions are up and ready. This one was a shocker for me, I wrote it so long ago and going back to it on the edit was like reading it anew. I think it is one of the best, if not the best, work from my phase one. A gritty, hard boiled detective novel as dark and real as can be. If you liked the first season of True Detective this one is for you.
Be warned, it is disturbing. I went into some real dark places with this one, some places that unfortunately do actually exist out there. Perhaps not as I describe it, but there are people out there doing these horrific actions to other people. Epstine’s island was child’s play next to what really happens in the darkest corners of this Earth.
That is what I tried to capture here. A glimpse into that darkness. Fictional, but maybe shining a light will let them know they are not unseen. To all to victims out there stay strong.
Take a read. See what you think. I am off now to a new phase, diving deep into a world I have created. A fantasy series that as I write I fall more in love with. I don’t think I will ever have a magnum opus but this series will come close. That is how I am feeling about it. I am so excited to have you read it. The first book is probably six months out at this point, so get ready.
Thank you all to my family, friends and readers. Thank you for reading. For enjoying my tales. I do no know what drives me to write, I only know that I can not stop it. Not if I want to remain happy and sane. Knowing people are out there enjoying the words I put to paper makes it all the more fulfilling. Truly, from the depth of my heart, thank you.
See you in six months. Ish. Don’t hold me to that, I got a lot going on right now so things might take longer I don’t know.
