Your World is a Direct Result of your Thoughts – My Religion I Guess

Your World is a Direct Result of your Thoughts – My Religion I Guess

So this philosophy or religion of mine was kind of formed back when I was eighteen and is taken from a reading of a very esoteric book by an author I cannot even remember. Parts of the reading were used in a song by a band I like and that was how I discovered it. That and some creative googling.

I guess it is a blend of Buddhism and mysticism, I am not really sure. I’ve never really given it much thought in terms of what it is. I gravitate toward it because it has helped me through hard times and it has helped me enjoy good times. It helps me because it is a reminder that there really is no such thing as a hard time or a good time, there just is. We add all the baggage to reality.

Then it is a little mystic in the sense that I believe that there is a lot we cannot comprehend. I totally believe in science and this is actually a blend of advanced quantum physics and this kind of thinking. When you look at quantum physics things start to look a little mystical with multiple dimensions, quantum entanglement, the observer effect etc.

So combining that thinking (which I was really into when I was eighteen because I am a huge nerd) with Buddhist practice and you basically end up at my religion. Where we are all made of energy and all have the ability to influence the energy around us in subtle ways. That there is a critical mass that could be reached one day where enough people understand these concepts and ideas and lead others into the fold. That we all understand and love one another and create a better world through mindfulness and positivity.

Sounds pretty hippy. I will admit that it is. But I wanted to share. Here is the gist of it:

You are going to see your reality turned upside down. You are going to see chaos. You are going to see confusion. You are forming new bodies, from the inside out. As you learn and grow you will change.

All that exists is energy, and all is one because all is consciousness

A certain amount of disruption or chaos is necessary to create new order

Your World is a Direct Result Of Your Thoughts (this is the central tenet)

As you, yourself grow you effect those around in your family, in your school systems, in your neighborhood and then of course, within your world.

– On this path there will be a critical mass, when a certain number of individuals achieve a certain state of knowing others will instantly comprehend.

The 3rd dimensional experience is composed of thinking, the 4th dimensional experience is more involved with feeling. We need to strive to enter this new dimensional experience.

Be very gentle with yourself and your experiences, love yourself, trust yourself there is a part of you that indeed knows what’s going on and there is a part that has no idea and the part that has no idea, just allow it to tag along…do not judge it.

Remember, your world is a direct result of your thoughts.

On Human Rights

On Human Rights

What are human rights and where do they come from? Everyone probably has a different and unique answer but I think we all share a common stance on the question. We all can acknowledge that we have rights as people but I think we disagree on what rights we have and how we have them.

Studio Days

Studio Days

Sometimes nothing happens then suddenly everything happens all at once. That is what the past few weeks have been like for me. I started the studio a few months ago and after an initial flurry of work things kind of dried up. Now I am back to having more work then I have time to do it. Lots of things in motion and it feels great.

Collapse – A post joy world

Collapse – A post joy world

I know that every generation thinks it is living in the end times. This is a phenomenon as old as civilization, everyone feels that collapse is imminent but it rarely happens. Apocalypse features in our media through out time. Religions have scenes of it in their holy books, writers and poets have been imagining it and we continue this trend. Maybe we do this because we are so aware of our own mortality that we feel a need to apply it to civilization. Or maybe it is just idle fantasy, imagining the fall of all that we have built.

Rain on My Parade – Failing to find the point

Rain on My Parade – Failing to find the point

Life when you boil it down to the component parts really has no point beyond the biologic imperative to continue the species. Life is survival and reproduction. This is how it is for every other species on the planet, they exist without a point. They don’t need one. We, humans, the cosmic accident are the only species that tries to find a point in all this.
